Our rub protector fly mask is a great addition for those horses who have sensitive skin, need a little UV protection, or for fly protection around the eyes and ears.  This mask is made of a strong, durable lycra material.  We really like how far down on the face it comes (to fit under the halter noseband) and how far back on the poll (keeping it from bunching up in front of the  crown piece.

Dark mesh is great for sun protection, but can be more difficult to see through in the dark or if it gets wet.  If you are using the mask predominantly for rub protection, you can easily trim the mesh from the eye openings, even leaving a little bit as a "sun visor." 

While the mesh ears of the fly mask are very roomy, they an also be trimmed to provide a little extra space for our long-eared friends while still providing some protection from annoying bugs.
