Halter washing and care.Updated a year ago

We recommend handwashing your halter with Woolite or a mild soap If you're wanting to get some stains out. They can also simply be hosed off and drip-dry outside.

If you have a top-load washing machine, you can wash your halter with like colors using mild detergent. Do not place the halter in a front-load washer, as the hardware may break the glass doors often found on these machines. Do not wash halter with whites, as the colors may bleed. Remove the leather crown before washing, and do not machine-wash the leather crown. 

To clean the leather crown, wipe the felt padding with a wet cloth or rinse in the sink. Use a sticky roller to remove hair. Clean the leather just like any other leather product. We don't recommend deep leather conditioning because it could cause the leather to stretch out.
