Yes, our muzzles work for donkeys. Please make sure to accurately measure your donkey’s Nose Circumference & Muzzle Width/Bit size. For a better fit, we offer slightly different sizing and setup considerations described below. 

*There are extra safety considerations for donkeys and mini donkeys when it comes to sizing, as their hoof-to-head size ratio can allow for hooves to end up in the corner of the muzzle. If you are purchasing our muzzle for a donkey that fits easily in the Size 4 (Pony) or Size 5 (Horse), we recommend buying the Houdini Helper Hook & Loop and Tape Set with your muzzle. Using this set, corner straps can be added from the muzzle to the halter to block a hoof from getting inside the muzzle. Another strategy can be making the distance between the halter noseband and the muzzle as short as possible while still ensuring a proper angle adjustment. If your mini donkey is barely too big for our Size 3 (Mini) muzzle, we do have a way to modify it slightly to give them a little extra space rather than sizing up to the Size 4 (Pony) muzzle.
